Hlafo Benjamin, figlio di Isacco Benjamin e Messauda Labi è nato in Libia a Bengasi il 20 aprile 1907. Coniugato con Rachele Labi. Arrestato a Civitella in Val di Chiana (Arezzo). Deportato nel campo di concentramento di Bergen Belsen. È sopravvissuto alla Shoah.
